The divine masculine energy, the outward projection, is a compliment to the feminine energy of inward reflection. In our video, we discussed three qualities of the divine masculine energy that includes: protection, creation/action orientation, and logical reasoning. These are complements to the feminine energy of nurturing, holding the space/waiting, and intuition. This article expands on the three masculine qualities discussed for better clarity of these concepts.
Protection is the masculine energy of guarding and defending oneself and others. It’s an expression of outward energy to shield those perceived as vulnerable and an honorable quality of selflessness when used authentically. Protection allows us to survive and thrive. When we embody the quality of protection of ourselves and others, we are projecting outward our sphere of influence and intention with physical action steps if necessary.
Creation is the masculine energy of taking action with forward movement. When we create, we take physical action steps to transform energy into something tangible. This outward expression of ourselves is best realized when we’ve already held the space before moving in our desired direction. Creating allows us to be seen and heard for our unique gifts and talents by projecting (expanding) more of ourselves out into the world.
Logical reasoning is the masculine energy that uses common-sense, past-experience, universally understood information, and scientific discovery to help us exist competently in our experience. Without logic, we could not traverse the human experience. We need logic to guide us in making sound decisions in accordance with our present reality. The beauty of logic is in its capability to be understood by others, as they can relate in their experience. Logic allows us to project outward common ground with others in our shared experience.
Each of the qualities discussed honors the divine masculine energy present in all individuals regardless of gender. When we embody protection, we are ensuring our ability to survive and thrive. When we create, we are moving energy to be seen and heard. When we utilize logic, we are better able to ensure sound decisions in our best interest. Through recognizing and appreciating our divine masculine energy, we can better allow moments of authentic, balanced self-expression.
